Founded in 1929, The Southeast Bronx Neighborhood Centers, Inc. (SEBNC) is one of the oldest community service agencies in the South Bronx and provides services to over 6,000 persons on an annual basis. SEBNC's headquarters is located in the New York City Housing Authority's Forest Houses.

Harbor Camp


UNH has been partnering with the Waterfront Alliance for Harbor Camp since 2008. Harbor Camp provides a meaningful water-based summer camp experience to hundreds of children in the New York – New Jersey metropolitan area. In 2014, among 16 participating UNH member agencies, 86 trips were organized and 2,874 children participated.


Harbor Camp’s goal is to provide ecological, environmental, maritime, and/or historical education alongside fun and entertainment, and to cultivate stewardship in its participants. It encourages interest in protecting and preserving natural resources and instills a sense of the history of the New York region.
