AAFSC's mission is to help Arab immigrant families acclimate to the American society around them, which enables them to become active participants in their communities. They provide a wide range of services to the Arab immigrant community, including English as a Second Language classes, legal assistance, youth development programs, domestic violence prevention and access to health care.

Hamilton-Madison house was established when Hamilton House (est. 1902) and Madison House (est. 1898) merged in 1954.
Each week, Hamilton-Madison House provides services to 1,700 people of all ages and to more than 10,000 people annually.
Hamilton-Madison House (HMH) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents in the Two Bridges/Chinatown area on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Hamilton-Madison House offers a variety of human service social programs. These programs include: Day Care and Head Start; a Youth Development Program; HIV Teen Outreach Program; Refugee Assistance Program; Mental Health services; Chinatown Alcoholism Unit, and Senior Services. In May of 1995, Hamilton-Madison established a Supported Housing Program in Corona, Queens, to provide independent housing for 23 Asian patients recently released from mental health institutions.
Hamilton-Madison House's newest site, Knickerbocker Village Senior Center, opened its doors in June 1996 and now provides concrete social services and counseling on-site to seniors in this community. An extension of the Head Start program, also opened in June 1996, is located in Southbridge Towers. In addition, Hamilton-Madison's outreach work includes community-based advocacy, organizing and education on local and neighborhood issues.
